Awards
Awards are offered at qualifying meets, to members who are in good standing prior to judging. A qualifying meet is a meet that meets the following criteria:
- Is APA sanctioned
- Has a minimum of 100 waterfowl, consisting of a minimum of 50 ducks, either standard or bantam, in the open and/or junior classes, and a minimum of 25 geese in the open and/or junior classes.
District Meets:
Award for Champion Duck, Champion Goose
National Meets:
Award for Champion Duck, Champion Goose
Junior Awards:
Special awards for Champion Junior Duck, Champion Junior Goose at District and National Meets
Master Exhibitor:
A Master Exhibitor Award will be awarded to members receiving the highest quantity of points in a single variety during a calendar year.
Waterfowl Breeder of the Year:
This award is presented annually to a member who has made an outstanding contribution to the exhibition and breeding of waterfowl during the past year.
Hall of Fame Award:
This award is present annually to a member who has made a significant contribution to the exhibition and breeding of waterfowl over the course of his or her lifetime.
