The IWBA currently has the following vacancies:
The IWBA now requires a $25 refundable deposit for sanctioning of non-complying shows. This is to encourage shows to forward show bills, as well as show reports, for recording of points. Upon receipt of required paperwork, the $25 fee will be refunded to the show.
There has been a change in the points tabulation to reward sites for hosting state, district, and national meets, and to encourage members to attend these meets. Additional points shall be awarded as follows:
State = +1
District = +2
National = +3

The Buff African has met requirements for qualification and admittance to the Standard of Perfection.
The qualifying meet for the Silver Muscovy will be held at the APA National show in Ohio in November, 2019.
Junior points have been adjusted. Juniors shall be awarded points for Champion/Reserve Duck, Goose and Waterfowl. Points shall be awarded to junior members for their reflected poultry skills and husbandry not awarded for breed of bird. Points shall be accumulated during the year and an annual award shall be given out to the top juniors. Points shall be accumulated through consecutive years for an achievement award that shall be based on the youth accumulating 500 points. A special youth award shall be given for this achievement.
